So I started the ice cream cupcakes. You freeze the cupcakes after baking and before spooning in the ice cream because it's easier to shave the dome when they're frozen. Good to know. Operation: Awesome Anniversary is an unqualified success. Never have I given my parents such a thoughtful gift since I colored a rock with markers in first grade. This calls for a heart-felt huzzah.

Our neighbor was in Ohio on business and brought a box of Anthony-Thomas Buckeyes for us. For those not in the know, Ohio State University is a religion in Central Ohio and the Buckeye is their mascot.
