Obligatory "Projects For 2014" Declaration

1. Corner Laughers album #4: We've been working on this on and off since we finished "Poppy Seeds" in 2012. It's been slow going, due to the fact that all band members now have children and full-time jobs and we spent most of 2013 concentrating on Agony Aunts. It's almost at the half-way point now, and everything is coming together nicely. We're trying out genres that we might have formerly shunned such as reggae and German disco.

2. Ongoing 70s Children's Music Cover Series: goldenmoonbear and I have been recording acoustic versions of 70s kids' songs, just for fun. So far we've done:

3. 2014 Yard Almanac: Yeah, I'm doing that again.

4. Deadball - The Movie: Apparently I'm in this. I don't know why, because I can't act my way out of a Chico bag.

5. Alison Faith Levy's Big Time Tot Rock Album #2: I'm playing bass. We've recorded 3 songs so far, all of which sound brilliant.

6. Andy Z - "Drink More Water": I've been surprisingly productive during my paternity leave. In addition to our normal duties, goldenmoonbear and I sang backing vocals and appeared in a video with legendary kindie rock artist Andy Z that encourages kids to, as the title suggests, drink more water. Watch closely for Octavia's film debut. (Find out more about California Food Policy Advocates' Healthy Beverages in Childcare project and progress at http://healthybeveragesinchildcare.org. 8. As always, I'll be keeping track of movies, books, and albums.
