Animal 'Ouse

OK, so I didn't really do 10 things to clean up my life before April 14th. (The whale-oil powered regular oil delivery truck that I invented turned out not to work as well as I would have liked so I just set it on fire and abandoned it in a minority neighborhood.) I did, however, have one of my songs played on the podcast of someone I have never ( Read more... )

Whale-oil Aquaculture Plan
1. Krill is cheap.
2. Whales that eat krill are large and full of oil.
3. Buy krill, raise large whales.
4. ???
5. Profit!

Maybe you could send me the lyrics to "Endless Summer" so I can read them. I don't know what you are saying in the song because I don't want to turn it up that loud at work. And when did you start writing lyrics that conveyed a message?? Hey - aren't you coming out here soon?

There's no message really. It was supposed to be a sarcastic pro-global-warming surf song. I sent it to Step It Up on a whim thinking they would hate it and they posted it.

>Hey - aren't you coming out here soon?

Yes, we'll be there May 16th-21st.

Endless Summer

I'm going cruising in my Woody
Lighting up my barbecue
Turning on the air conditioner
Nice to see you CO2

Waxing up my brand new surfboard
Made from pure Brazilian trees
Once I lived 10 miles inland
Now my front yard is the sea

It's gonna be an endless summer
Let's all hop in the Hummer
It's such a bummer that the water is so warm
It's an endless season
And it stands to reason
That we can't all make it through the next big storm

There's no more fish left in the ocean
The polar bears have jumped the shark
No more oil in the desert
We're left sitting in the dark

Now it's summer the whole year long
No one ever sees the snow
Getting hotter every day now
What we'll do God only knows

Hey - I wish this stranger from Chicago would email me about the song we wrote called "I Would Cry". That "green" song was written well before it was cool to write songs about saving the enviroment.
