That's awesome. I had heard it was the tarp-hat, but wasn't sure how they'd gotten the leather look. Hmmm, makes me want one.

I bought two of them and ended up giving one to a friend for his birthday. We both LOVE our hats!!

The way they got the leather look was she dyed it black using fiber reactive dyes ( NOT Rit ) and when they got the color just right , it was waxed. There are actually at least three of the tarp hats used in the movie. The first is the hat he is wearing in the scene at Fadil's compound. It is an undyed tarp hat that was unshaped. ( the slouch hat ) The second is the hat he wears for most of the movie. and the third is the hat he wears at the soccur game. If you look carefully you will see the brim on the last one is more narrow than the one he wears most of the movie. It is a very subtle differance.

Oh yes indeed. :) Of course he is sexy even without the Hat but with it he approaches an epic level of hotness. :D
