Since about 7:45, I've been able to hear a loudspeaker voice. It accompanied me on the dog walk, making it super surreal. I don't understand why something has to be so loud that you can hear it literally a mile away. At about 8:20, there was a bout of screaming in Chinese in our stairwell. so, um... how high is your fever exactly? ;)

i get that loudspeaker voice thing occasionally from the college nearby or even the high school when the wind is coming from the right direction.

I don't even know if I have a fever, but I probably do because I have that weird floaty feeling.

We have a college sports field pretty close to our house and we can hear that really clearly - to the point where we know the players' names when they're playing baseball. But this was odd and I couldn't really understand the words. Maybe it was some promotional thing? We found a pink balloon (it said boston.com on it and boston.com has been showing 10 year anniversary commercials on tv so maybe it was something about that?) in the park that Charlie got to pop - he loves a balloon! :)

Do you think the loudspeaker maybe had something to do with the Head of the Charles? You're less than a mile from the river, right?

Every Tuesday morning, really fucking early, like before 7 a.m., a car with a loudspeaker goes down our street repeatedly telling people to move their cars because of the upcoming streetcleaning. Oy freakin' VEY is that annoying as shit!

Oh riiiiiiight, head of the charles! I forgot. We're about a mile from the BU bridge, so that's probably it.

OMFG. It's not like the street cleaning schedule isn't posted. I think they should just fucking tow everyone who's stupid enough to ignore the signage.
