Today has been an amazing day in many ways.
The day began sometime yesterday and found me at school early to work on my stats assignments with Janice to see if i could actually pass the class. University turns countless brilliant, motivated passionate people into very bitter beasts indeed. I've watched it seep into your brain, but I think you know yourself too well to let yourself fall prey to its dangers.

It's fantastic to see you energized during such a challenging time. Best of luck in your exams and I shall rendevous with you and Miss Summer very, very shortly :D

haha, i wish it were university that were making me bitter. university is actually the only place where i have met large numbers of people and organizations in this community that i could get involved with that are seeking to make change, or seeking to encourage people to be agents of change. My anger and disgust at large segments of humanity has always been there... as soon as i realized how many people die every day, and how relatively few people are working to stop that, i lost most of my faith in humanity. most days i can push that out of my head and stay optimistic, but not always, every once and a while it comes boiling to the surface. fortunately for me, i tend to break through that and use that fire to keep me going. =)

and that beautiful miss(ed) summer is only a few days/hours away. hopefully by this friday i will be done (with the exception of one exam, which will be easy). and i will see you in the park very soon after for sure!

I wish you'd started these things while I was still in KW, or at least in Canada. :P

Hopefully you'll still be doing 'em when I come back... I'd love to get involved in your choir.

Thank you for sharing this picture of your daily life with one who lives his feet away without quite knowing what's going on in his own house. I think next year will be a more communal affair and a much more satisfying home life. Good luck with the whole 6AM thing.
