Since I don't have my season 2 Veronica Mars DVDs yet, I've been re-watching the first season. Now that I have a DVD player hooked up to the big TV downstairs, I'm astounded at how bright and clear everything is. It looks so much better than it does on my little computer screen. GAH. I'm so very in love with the pretty that is Veronica Mars. Though it did seem to take them awhile to match Victor Hammer's S1 technique in S2. But, the shots, the angles, the colors! I totally end up geeking out over them. And, Mars vs. Mars. Those first couple of shots of Logan coming through the doorway, may just be my favorite shots of the show. Like you said, the colors just give such a beautiful balance. But I feel completely horrible for never realizing that hallway perspective shot! Is that after she walks away from Carrie Bishop?

Yeah, S2 looked a bit different and when I first watched it, I couldn't quite tell what it was, something was just a little off. But then I found out there was a new cinematographer, so that makes sense.

Btw - that's cool you have a matching episode icon. :) I had one of the doorway scene for awhile and didn't want to give it up. I should start using it again. Oh LJ, how you tease with your lack of icon space!
