Birthdays happen every day, so technically it's celebrated all year.

And as long as I have someone to be with on my birthday, I don't give half a fuck if they come bearing gifts. Kinda like another non-holiday we all know and love.

Halloween is pretty stupid, but it's also something that's grown out of. Celebrating it after a certain age is looked down upon, whereas Valentine's Day is supposed to mean more as you get older or something like that.

I guess it's not so much that it supports corporate America, since every holiday inevitably does. It's the fact that, for whatever reason, people feel more defensive about this holiday than almost any other. We don't find it weird that people don't celebrate Christmas, right?

i don't know... a lot of people in college celebrate halloween, and a lot of adults dress up too. its just a reason to be silly i guess. i really don't find it that weird that people don't like it, its just that this is the most complained about holiday ever, and i just think that people need to chill and keep their mouths shut so the rest of us can enjoy it.
