Um, Mother Nature

Please be explaining why yesterday was 30 and today was 60? That in fact the low tonight is 10 degrees hotter than the max temp of yesterday? You are so crazy.

I lost this day to grading all the things. I didn't even get around to making monday's test. tomorrow will be busy.

Thanks to silvrethorn & kiramaru7 for some suggestions on both Cassadaga and Deadwood. It ( Read more... )

We get that Costco cat litter, and yeah, damn it's heavy.

Can they do anything for your leg? :(

So heavy.

I'm going to be in PT for the better part of this year but first we have to figure out just how many nerves are pinched off. On the 9th I'll be going to have electrified needles jammed into my nerves to figure that out.

The experiences I offered were either my own, things I heard from camp psychics, or what I heard in interviews on TV shows like Paranormal State (including the junior edition where the psychics were mentoring kids). It doesn't hurt that those versions have dramatic potential.

How has your leg atrophied like that? It's not like you haven't hiked in the woods and all over Vegas. Three inches is a lot for a leg in active use.

Mom swears by the corncob litter. It's light and easy enough for her to handle--clay weighs an absolute ton, even without the cannonball-sized pee muffins Chablis leaves in there.

This past week has given you plenty to be depressed about. You have full permission to wallow--for now. But don't let it move in and set up housekeeping.

This is true. It's helpful.

There is at least one pinched nerve in my leg, if not more. I knew it was getting worse when I couldn't cross my leg without pain and over the summer realized I couldn't get off the couch without my hands helping and then the return of the subluxing knee cap (as my quads are the only thing holding my knee together on that side). It's a mess.

Yeah I usually use wheat or corn but this was so cheap and a good brand and holy hell 42 freaking pounds for the price of about 3 pounds of that damn wheat stuff.

THanks. It's been a terrible January and I just learned another family friend died. sigh.

Weather has been strange down here, too.
Wow. Sorry for the condition of your leg. It is a wonder why your doctor didn't notice. You are around it every day, so slow changes might not register, but your doctor? No excuse.

Considering how much you've been going through lately, I don't think depression is an unreasonable response.

I hope they can do something for your leg. I can't believe that first doctor didn't notice.

Why is your insulin so expensive? That's outrageous.

No I suppose not, thanks

Noticing would mean taking more than 10 minutes with me. It's one of the reasons I switched

it's a newer insulin and I need a double box (still that's @ 375$/box) I want to know why humalog is still nearly 200 a box. That stuff is OLD. I mean it was being used when I was in school in the early 90s

I don't understand the humalog either. When I was on insulin, my doctor switched me to it at one point because he assumed it would be the cheapest option. He immediately switched me back to Novalog once he realized the insane price.

It really makes no sense. My doc wants me to switch to one of the very newest ones that require LESS insulin per dose but I'm betting my insurance won't pay
