Death's Daughter

Finished reading Amber Benson's latest book, Death's Daughter, a few days ago. I enjoyed it - it's very lightweight and comedic, kind of asking to be a comic really, more consciously frothy than the usual Urban Fantasy that it could otherwise be grouped with. Pretty good stuff.

I went to Amazon to see what this is about....hmmmm...written by the actress who played "Tara" in Buffy the Vampire Slayer series. I usually like this gentre of books and will have to see if my library carries it. It sounds a bit like the Queen Betsy series and I enjoyed those immensely. Well, except the last one which flat-out sucked.

Yes, Amber Benson seems to have done quite a lot of stuff since Tara. I got a signed photo from her at some convention a while back, too. Some of the Queen Betsy synopsis sounds very similar. I'm not saying this is outstanding or anything, of course, just trying to blog books I read. It's back to Richelle Mead next for some succubus action.
