Streets near McGill University flooded AGAIN [2013.01.28]

I'm laughing so hard, in my few years of being a student at McGill University, there hasn't been just one flooding but TWO! That's right, you read it correctly, TWO!!

The last time there was a flooding was back in September 2011 [ HERE] when one of the water main broke and this time it was another water main that broke that set it off.

there's a video going around on Facebook that is amazing, a girl literally gets washed down MacTavish *so glad I was home*

I saw that video!!

I think she was trying to cross, but she ended up falling and literally swept away by the hurtling water flow!

I'm so glad that I was at the McIntyre library, high and far up above the murky depths of the water :3

Though there were some who weren't as lucky. There's a video that went viral of a girl who gets swept by the water, she came out unscathed and uninjured, but it's pretty amusing to see since she just basically rode the torrent down~

I'd be surprised if Rutherford wasn't affected - water was just GUSHING through that area and onto University. So glad I made the smart choice and just ran from it. Was not interested in getting my feet soaked, slipping, and destroying my laptop :\
