Daniel Day-Lewis Dedicates SAG Award To Heath Ledger

The Screen Actors Guild Awards, one of the few ceremonies to receive waivers from the Writer's Guild (which allowed them to take place without being picketed) were presented last night. I didn't get to watch the ceremony myself (damn you lack of cable, damn you!!), but every recap of the show made mention of Daniel Day Lewis' heartfelt acceptance

yeah...i saw it last night when it was on...he won only moments after they did the memorial tribute to those that passed in the last year and they had to add an extra moment at the end for Heath. i really teared up in those 5 minutes. very moving. :(
