How surreal....

I can't describe how strange it is to hear your skin being cut, scraped, torn (probably wasn't actually torn, it just sounded that way), then burned/cauterized. I couldn't see it or feel it, though I could smell the smoke from the cauterizing doo-dad, so it was pretty much all sounds, which were admittedly distorted happening so close to my ear. It

Well, I'm still all numbed up, so I'm doing great. Just got done with the second round of cutting/scrapping/burning, so I'm just waiting to see if there is going to be a round 3.
