yeah, option a) was "Pushing up Daises" The guy had a gift where he could touch something dead and it would come back to life, but if he touched it again, it would die forever. Hence the trouble of not being able to kiss his love since he's already brought her back from the dead once.

But, YAY!!! a vampire book :) You know how much I like them.
