(from BtVS 7:4)

I definitely knew I was in my post-visiting girlfriend blahs when I cried during my doctor's appointment today (although I do feel it was a positive and productive appointment). But instead of detailing more of my lameness, I am trying to channel how good I felt in yoga and point you to a couple of things that made me happy:

Hee! I love this list, and I don't know how you do it! It's all I can do to keep up with five shows each week--I think a list like that might kill me!

Hope your visit was awesome!

Yay for loving the list! I'm so bad about having restraint with TV shows which is why I always try to watch too many and then am behind. I'm trying to cut back by purposefully deciding to save up shows cause I need more time for RL and fanfic writing.

The visit was indeed awesome! Of course I wish it was longer, but I remind myself that it means things are still very very good! :D

My Monday's are insane too:

Monday Night Football
Heroes
Prisonbreak
K-Ville
Dancing with the Stars

And I missed it because I was travelling, but plan to watch Samantha Who as well.

There's a ridiculous amount of good TV on Mondays, which is exciting but overwhelming. I'm glad to hear you're checking out Samantha Who!! I was very happy with it. :D

heee! We must be!! Each year I try to restrain myself but I just can't resist TV shows. I'll let you know about Aliens in America - I've heard good things about it.

It really was shocking! I think it actually was a genuine oversight because they really do love Buffy.

*hugs*

I think it'll be one of the shows I save up on my PVR.

Yes, this has been happening to us too, in part because we are also overloaded on Mondays with watching Chuck, Heroes and DWTS as well.

I've been pleased at who's been eliminated so far (as in, not the best dancers) but was worried about Mel B in the bottom 2 last week.

My feelings exactly. I think Mark Cuban is going to have problems next week, but the other bottom couple could be nearly anyone.

Back to You - Meh. I like the actors but it lacks a spark or something.

I think it's just uninteresting writing, the acting is as you point out, good. I'd be willing to watch again if it gets better.

I saw Daisies and have to say I'm on the fence. On the one hand I like that it's trying something really different. On the other I feel the quirky could get old fast. Waiting and seeing for now.

We taped Reaper but haven't seen it yet.

Mondays really are a busy TV night!! And I'm so glad to see that you've been enjoying Chuck! It's such a fun show.

I think Mark Cuban is going to have problems next week, but the other bottom couple could be nearly anyone.
I totally agree. I'm so torn because I'm really enjoying so many of the dancers it's hard to figure out who should be in the bottom 2 this week (other than Mark Cuban).

I think you're correct that the writing's uninteresting on Back to You - when I'm watching the show I feel I've seen it before.

On the one hand I like that it's trying something really different. On the other I feel the quirky could get old fast.
Yeah, I agree about that. For some reason it really rubbed me the wrong way (I especially disliked the narrator). So when I was talking to a friend who enjoyed it (but didn't love it), he suggested I wait a number of episodes and try it again - the idea is that that'll give the show time to settle down a bit and find a good balance.
