Me too! And it's really suprising to me, because Angel was never one of my favorite characters, and even though I thought DB was good in the role, he never really appealed to me very much. But as Booth, suddenly I can see how charismatic and charming he is (which is funny, because I think Angel is a better written, more complex role). In conclusion, I agree with everything you said.;)

Snakes On A Plane...I think it sounds hilariously cheesy, but I can't even watch the trailer. Because: snakes. Why'd it have to be snakes?< /Indiana Jones>

I know! It's so weird, because as you note Angel's such a better drawn character than Booth. I suspect the Booth is a better fit for DB, and that he's able to do more of the things that he's good at (although that's not to say he was bad as Angel). DB is also in better shape & looking better now than he did in AtS seasons 4 & 5. I suspect he's one of those people who gets better looking as they age.

I'd forgotten about the Indiana Jones snake line!! The snakes in Snakes on a Plane are horrible CGI snakes, they just make me giggle at how fake they look. But yes, a dislike of snakes is a good reason to avoid the trailer and movie!!

It's an awesome story, which I'm still reflecting on! Because I'm not part of seasonal_spuffy I wouldn't have known about your fic and earth_vexer's icons without you 2 mentioning them, so yay!!

Oy and that's some hard-core ick isn't it? I know, but it's all worth it for the awesomeness that is DB! I also really do like the other characters as well.

That is very similar to Angel! I missed the eating people joke, now I guess I'll just HAVE to to re-watch the Booth part of episodes! I also love that being a dad is really important to Booth because the dad stuff always makes me think of Angel and Connor. I have my fingers crossed for Andy Hallett to guest star as Booth's old friend who helps him with love stuff.

I want JAR, and other Jossverse actors, to be the STARS in their new shows. And for all of them to be on tv again. I'm now reminding myself that JM will be on Smallville on March 30.

Bwah! So bad it's good. I still don't think I'd go see it, but I have to say I love it that someone would make a movie based on such a deliciously ridiculous premise.

I started watching Bones for DB, but now I really like it. Although, anthropology was my field in university, so that angle makes it interesting for me. But DB's been just wonderful, it's kind of fun to watch him enjoying himself after all those years of brooding. :D

Mmm... pudding...

I love it too! I can't resist that kind of cheesy stuff, so I'll probably see it at a matinee or one of the cheaper movie theatres.

Bones does have an interesting concept, and I find it much less icky than CSI. You studied anthropology?! Very cool. One of my friends did as well. She was considering becoming a forensic anthropologist but changed her mind. I wish I'd taken an anthropology course but my studies were dominated by Political Science, History and Women's Studies (all of which I switched out of) and then finally English Lit (with some Film Studies thrown in).

I'm convinced that DB as Booth is closer to who DB is. He doesn't strike me - from interviews - as a broody type of guy. He seems more ready to have fun which is evident in Booth.

I'm with you on the pudding!

I like DB, but I don't think I could watch any actor if I didn't like the show they were in. Luckily, I actually like the show Bones, even though I'm not usually one for that type of program. Give me good characters and some humor, and I'm up to try anything.

The only Jossverse actor whose show I haven't continued watching is Christian Kane's Close to Home. CK doesn't have a huge role in it, so I'm not missing much. But other than that, I've even been watching the increasingly less crappy Four Kings with Seth Green. I'm also still sticking with Conviction because of my love for J.August Richards, although my big complaint is "not enough JAR."

Give me good characters and some humor, and I'm up to try anything.
Definitely! Those are the things I look for in tv shows, and are normally some of the factors that make a show my favourite.

The weird thing about this is that I've never been that into DB.

I know! It's so amazingly weird after all these years to suddenly get the hots for DB. Although the mentally unbalanced part of my brain still feels like I'm betraying Spike or something to do so. Anyway, I really enjoy watching him in that role.

Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Snakes on a Plane looks totally hilarious. I love me a "good" bad flick.

Ooh! lillianmorgan's fic was so damn good. It was cool to read s/b in a way that I haven't seen done before. And earth_vexer really outdid herself with that batch of icons.

I really like the colors you chose for your layout. Very soothing and pretty. :D

I am convinced that DB is so much hotter (and in better shape) now than he was during the last couple of seasons of Angel. But, it's still weird to suddenly find him hot because it's not like he's completely altered his appearance.

Maybe I didn't notice Angel previously because of my loyalty to Spike? But I believe that Spike finds Angel (and Booth) hot, he just wouldn't admit it out loud. Instead I'd come home and find him re-watching DB on Bones, because for some reason in my imagination Spike is in my living room! hee!

I'm very excited about Snakes on a Plane and am hoping it'll be a Tremors kind of "good" bad movie!!

Thanks for the feedback about my layout. I'm glad the colours work for you! My journal used to be really pink and a different style, so I've been experimenting with different colours and looks. :)
