Tiny plants
So the sun finally came out for a bit yesterday. It made a nice change from the unremitting cool and windy weather we've been having. And it activated the bugs in the yard in a big way. I'm going to have to put the mosquito repellent near the back door so we can all spray down if we're going to be staying outside ( Read more... ) -

Man at work
He really had fun with his new sand and water table. He was so intent, moving everything back and forth between the sides and sections. Thanks so much grandma and grandpa.

Ick
At work, still stuffed up and coughing, but I'm hoping the improved HVAC in the building will help to protect me from the deluge of pollen that I think is exacerbating the cold symptoms. I also have an antihistamine, so I'm hoping to get through the day. Woobs wants to do some gardening tonight and get his bean teepee planted. I'd like to get ( Read more... ) -
Surprisingly productive...for a sick day
So, the Woobs took Nat to day care and then came back home to spend my sick day with me. Since he was here and we had the car, we wound up going out and getting all the stuff (like medicine and groceries) that we had put off over the weekend ( Read more... ) -

Snuggly Wuggly
So true to form, I finished off the hubbs's chunky knit scarf/cowl thing last night, just in time for what will probably be the final gasp of "winter" weather for the year, a cool and rainy front that is unlikely to require any serious bundling up. Oh well, there's always next year. -
Getting the ball rolling
Let's see. I'm not used to updating anything regularly, but it's probably good for me to get back in the habit. The Woobs is suffering through a head cold that has been passed around his office. Checking in
We're doing well. Still waiting on a foster placement from the county. We got some new furniture with our tax return and the Woobs is working on making as awesome computer-using recliner console thing. I'll try to get some pictures of him in it when he finished it. -
