This was very well done. I loved the interpretation of the prompt and the dialogue. This couple pulls so hard in opposite directions that it's hard to imagine how they ever got together! Also, I appreciated the evenness with which you treated the characters.

Very insightful, but at the same time it is the exact thing that drives me up the wall with a lot of "couple's counseling." It's like the counselors think we're all stupid and won't notice that the content is the same just because we changed how it was phrased???? (Sorry, pet peeve.)

I think the intent is to take the phrasing/tone/manner of saying things out of it, so that the other person can hear what is actually being said. Whether this is a blessing or a curse is open to debate. :)
