One of my friends put it like this (paraphrased): Women are crazy and men are stupid. The key is for a man to find the sort of crazy he finds endearing, and the woman to find the kind of stupid she can tolerate. Nobody's ever going to get less stupid or less crazy, though, so whatever you pick you'd better *really* be ready for it.
