9-7, +218 was good enough for 22nd place and a 47-point rating gain. I could inundate you with stats, bingo lists, stories, and whatnot. Instead, I'm going to tell one quick story, then go in-depth on one game in particular.

Could someone explain how, though the B is generally considered a worse tile than the P, that KOP sims about six points better than KOB?

I ran a sim here and through 4,000 2-play iterations KOB was ahead of KOP by a small margin. Makes me wonder if somehow you got a bad result, for some reason.

I'm curious what Brian's first rack was.

This is an off-topic comment, but it is a small world. A few months ago I was working as an inspector for an airport noise abatement program in San Mateo County, and we were installing insulated windows in school. The school was Highland Christian Academy, and in some casual conversation it turns out that the administrator knew a scrabble player ... Michael Frentz.. a school alumni. I was able to give them an update on your current location and scrabble rating from cross-tables. They are pleased and proud that you are doing well.
