And this: I'm a bit confused, why do they think he raped a girl? I thought they only mentioned the pregnancy on air. I have to re-read the previous part, I was probably still too jaded over Manuelgate.

Yes he is :) Matt needs to cool off and take the log out of his own eye before he tries to help Russell.

Sorry this wasn't made clear: this is pure fabrication. The media are given this juicy bit of news- Russell Brand is worried about his "pregnancy", which he has to keep "secret", as if the world new it would endanger this "reputation" and his "safety". The have no way of knowing that he himself is pregnant, as, obviously, it's impossible, but they can't wait to get this story out, so they don't investigate, they make it up. It's the way most tabloids operate these days. Ghastly. Sorry that it confused you a bit.
