Tomorrow's afternoon play on Radio 4 is Torchwood!

R4 is having a big bang themed day, I think it's really cool.

And in case anyone hasn't seen it, check out the Large Hadron Rap -- written by a scientist working there.

So GenCon is coming up this weekend. It's £15 per day (up from £10 last year) but I thought I'd summarise the things I'm most excited about.

I have been messing around with the new D&D minigame on facebook, which is like one of those old 'choose your own adventure books' if you don't get to choose much and it does all the dice rolling. It's actually cooler than it sounds, but I laughed when my character had a Monty Python encounter!

Gardeners are here this week to clear up our jungle. Bits of it are being burned a the moment. The gardener (Dave) found a wasps nest, but after inspecting the insects and checking online, we think they're actually bumble bees. And apparently they die out in September anyway ( Read more... )

Was in the CAB yesterday and did another supported interview (just need 1 more and then I am apparently allowed to go solo). This was another housing issue, and although it was ostensibly about a guy who wanted to get his ex-landlord to return his deposit, it turns out that said landlord had been claiming he lived in the same house as his lodgers ( Read more... )
