Gardeners are here this week to clear up our jungle. Bits of it are being burned a the moment. The gardener (Dave) found a wasps nest, but after inspecting the insects and checking online, we think they're actually bumble bees. And apparently they die out in September anyway

Bees with a secret underground base - awesome!

We had bees with a similar disposition when I lived in Annapolis. I found their nest by trying to rake leaves one Autumn and discovered they didn't like the top part of their house disturbed. No stings though!
