I haven't been around lately. Let me tell you some things.

1. Work is piling up.There's just crap loads upon crap loads of admin work to be done. Some processes here at work are just so inefficient. Half the time I think I'm doing someone else's job. I'm still learning though, least I'm not wasting my time ( Read more... )

Admin work is the bane of my existence. Leave something unfinished even for a day and it bites you in the ass later.

Your new computer is fast now... but it'll lag down later. Your old one needs to be defragged and cleaned out of random crap.

It's good to hear the alternatives make you feel better. I've been considering trying acupuncture for the god awful tension in my shoulders, haven't really looked much into it yet though.

This is going to sound like a pretty n00b question but, have you discussed your vegetarianism/veganism with you endocrinologist? I'm not sure what type of medication you're on or what your diet is like, but I have read that soy tends to interfere with many thyroid hormone treatments (and cancer ones too). So, if you haven't discussed that, it might be a good idea.

Census date was yesterday so I feel a little bit more at ease now that's all out of the way. I think, if I ever study again, I'm going to try my hardest to be the best damn student ever. I'll submit everything properly, on time and be awesome. I don't know if I can apologise to the lecturers that had me enough heh heh.

Vera's been cleaned out more times you can poke a stick at (that sounds kinda gross actually :/). I'll still use her for more 'recreational' bits and pieces, but running CS5 on new compy is like a dream. Wow.

If you do want to give acupuncture a go, just make sure that (you both can understand each other they cater/specialise in what you need. I shopped around and eventually got a recommendation for the one I'm seeing, because she specialises in hormone imbalance and all that jazz ( ... )

I thought I'd bring up the soy thing just in case because it really is dependent on what you've got and what you're on. While we're on the subject, you may want to run your herbal remedies by a GP as well. A large number of herbs (some everyday ones even) interfere with modern medicines. But I guess if your specialist has formal qualifications it'd be alright.

Wtc, you can't have honey?! D=
