[ Okay, already irritated 8| There's the sound of the phone jostling as he balances it and starts to strike a match for his cigarette. ]

And, clearly, being on the phone, I'd say it's safe to assume that I've stopped. Is this ACTUALLY important or did you just want to pull me away for the nonsensical?

Everything I have to say is important. Look, you're the second most clever person in this town from what I can tell, so that means working together will create a lot more progress than working alone.

...Did you hear the Milkman's message after New Years and the ballot?

Well, there's some carbon, but it's a mixture of new elements and the ones you're familiar with on Earth.

By "saved the universe"... Do you mean you saved many worlds, sir?

coolbowtie January 21 2011, 21:25:54 UTC
Basically, yes. I saved every universe and parallel dimensions. Pretty good, isn't it?

Yeah, that's happened to me before too. I left Mayfield after around half a year and they acted like I had only been gone for a few minutes.

I'm not thanking you for anything either. You saved the universe?

It's interesting, very interesting.

Yes, I did. So once you get home and your world is still there, that's all thanks to me.
