[All around Mayfield, since Christmas day, residence might see a blue box materialize somewhere in the town only to disappear a few seconds later and reappear somewhere else in town. This continues to happen all throughout the day and night.

A. Occasionally, The Doctor will open the door of the blue box to peer around, only to slam the door shut ( Read more... )

the door is open, and she looks inside.]

[Well, there's blood on the floor, but aside from a vague humming that can be heard in the back of her head, there's nothing in the control room]

[she steps cautiously inside, catlike. it's obvious that she's still under the curse of her own 'gift'.]

[There's a funny feeling, like someone whispering "get out, leave" in her head, but it's only just a feeling. The only real sound comes from beneath the huge console in the center room. Stairs lead down there.]

[Okay there is a strange blue box in the driveway....what the hell. This itself is so much of a culture shock that when she walks in, the fact that it is huge isn't as astonishing as it might have been.

She does stare in wonder for a long time though.

Eventually though her curiosity will kick in and she'll go to look around and eventually.]

...Doctor?

[A tired voice calls back from below her and she might note a staircase that leads under the control center]

Who is it now?

It's Elizabeth.

[She does, and follows the voice.]

[The Doctor is sitting in a suspension swing that hangs from the console above, rocking slowly back and forth. His clothes are bloody and he grips the phone tightly in his hands]

Oh, Elizabeth, what do you need?

[ A great big, bright blue police box that he hasn't seen yet? He sees everything. Of course he's going to be curious. He didn't write a letter and he doesn't have anything overly unusual plaguing him today, so he's stepping inside, bundled to a tee. Khaki trench coat, green scarf, leather gloved fingers touching at the doorway as he takes a few steps in. ]

[ It's bigger on the inside. ]

[ Congratulations, TARDIS, you have sufficiently shocked Sherlock Holmes. ]

[And it's currently decorated with little drops and pools of blood on the floor. And they all lead to the Doctor who's leaning on the railing of a staircase. Usually he would be pleased to see the shocked look on someone's face but well... not tonight]

Do you need something?

[ He recognizes the voice immediately - he's spoken to this man on the phone, a couple times now, and he could pick that accent out of a line-up. The one that says he's a time traveler, and calls himself the Doctor. ]

There's blood.

[ That's not what he means to say - obviously there's, and that's a stupid thing to say, very stupid, uncharacteristic of him. It's bigger on the -- it's bigger on the inside. ]

Whose blood? Yours?

Yes, there's blood. You are smart, aren't you? Though it's not supposed to be there, I'll clean it up eventually before she starts nagging.

[he shifts a little, and when he moves into the light, it's obvious that it is his blood, as there are stains on his clothes and he's dripping from a few places]

Mine, yeah, I suppose.

You too?

But you said you saved England from evil aliens and stuff.

Of course, I did. Done it a million times, but it doesn't mean anything if things had been better of if you'd never done so.

...Not that they are. Of course, things aren't better without me.

Well, England really doesn't get along with aliens, so it probably helped a lot.

C. But she's heard the little blurb in A kindlichekaiser December 27 2010, 03:59:28 UTC
[Oh my. Well. This was interesting. After seeing him pop up (but being unable to answer because the drones seem to scream at her for help every time she tried), she's finally caught up with him!

She enters quietly and closes the door behind her, running a hand along the panels and the walls, completely in awe.

And then she remembers what she's there for] Doctor? [She trying to be strong, but there's an unmistakable quiver of exhaustion and fear in her voice]
