[In the dark of the usually quiet Mayfield nights, an unusual sound can be heard. It sounds like the sound of metal bashing on metal. The noise is loud enough to rouse those near to it from sleep. It rings out again and again, louder and more frequent and soon a voice can be heard mixing with the sound of metal tearing

[Nighttime is when Vietnam is most awake and alert, always on the lookout for any danger.

Her own hallucinogenic gas has worn off by now, and she still feels wary and paranoid from everything that happened earlier. She drives her motorcycle as slowly and quietly as she can through the streets of Mayfield, more conscious than usual of the gun holstered at her hip.

She hears the metallic banging long before she gets there, and is utterly surprised to find the Doctor as the source. She speeds up to pull up about thirty feet away from him. He's giving off an entirely different aura...]

[He pauses to look at her and stares at her for a moment as though it takes a bit for him to recognize her. Then his eyes go wide and he motions at her]

It's dangerous! Get out of here right now!

[She climbs off of the bike and lets it idle, rushing up to him.] What's wrong?

I said get out of here! Why does no one ever listen to that part?

[He quickly steps in front of her, blocking her from the Dalek-mailbox]

This is a Dalek, it's here to kill you and everyone else in this town.

[He eyes the destroyed mailbox, then shifts his gaze to the Doctor with a raised eyebrow. He has to admit, these hallucinations are a lot more entertaining when he's not the one suffering from them.]

Yes, we're all very impressed with your ability to kill mailboxes. Maybe you can go after a car next.

[He shifts towards Joshua, still threateningly raising his wrench at the mailbox]

[Jane pauses in removing a letter from her own mailbox to shoot him a disapproving glare. Why is it that her favourite time of day has to be when all the crazies come out?]
