Hungarian fish soup Halászlé

Weekends were held in the mountains! Hurray! We were swimming and eating this incredible and delicious soup . My dad taught me how to cook it. I often went with him on a fishing trip, and then , we were preparing this masterpiece dish. It is not complicated, very aromatic, with a rich taste of fish. Delissimo, you may just have provided an elegant solution to the Asian silver carp problem. (I don't presume to know whether that's the species you used--or, indeed, much about the ecology of the Ukraine--but they're invasive pests here in the U.S.)

they are not pests, here in Ukraine. Carp is considered a national fish and it is very tasty. Its not the Asian silver carp. Almost all fish dishes are prepared from carp in Hungary :)
