I have at least a full loaf of french bread, sliced fairly thin, that wasn't used up eating dips at yesterday's commercial-watching football party. We could use part of this to make up French toast but does anyone have any other suggestions for how to use this up before it goes impossibly stale? Thanks!

green onion, spinach with some ham and cheese is delicious
you can make a PB&J bread pudding too (make sandwiches and then soak everything is a egg custard for several hours and bake
