Using up bread rounds?

I have at least a full loaf of french bread, sliced fairly thin, that wasn't used up eating dips at yesterday's commercial-watching football party.  We could use part of this to make up French toast but does anyone have any other suggestions for how to use this up before it goes impossibly stale?  Thanks!

EDIT:  Thanks everyone for the awesome advice!   We used some for French toast.  And I made a sort of savory bread pudding, with cut up pieces of beef sausage links and lots of cheesy goodness.  We had it for dinner with fruit and it was surprisingly good!  The leftovers were great for breakfast the next morning also. :-)
