I tried a new beer yesterday, a smoky Octoberfest style, that tasted rather like black forest ham. I already have a recipe for the brownies, it specifically calls for a coffee stout, and hte same local brewery that made the Smoktoberfest makes a Stir Stick Stout that will be perfect for it.
