Artichoke and Spinach Dip

This is my famous artichoke and spinach dip. My friends ask me to make it for any party or get-together.

I always try to get a good picture but everyone starts eating it before I can even turn my camera on. I promise you, it may look like a hot mess, but it is delicious.

Creamy foods are terribly difficult to photograph. Way to have no manners. Additionally, the recipe sounds fantastic.

Canned ones actually. But they're the same as the ones in the glass jars.

YUM! I have a very similar recipe that I use (too lazy to go dig it out, lol) and it's always a hit. Delicious!!

That looks good! Is there any reason to use frozen spinach rather than fresh? (looking at the quantity of stiil-just-about-fresh in the fridge).

It's just easier to work with. And spinach around here is very spotty. Sometimes it's wonderful, but other times you wouldn't even consider it.

To use fresh, which I've done before, you'd need to use 2 cups fresh and chop it and wilt it in a skillet before mixing it with everything.
