I don't have any specific recipes but have you tried vinegar based dressing? I know some of my fav slaws (from restaurants) have a vinegar based dressing.

That is more or less what I am looking for, but prefer a tried recipe that works.

My cousin made this great asian slaw that used raw ramen noodles. I'll ask her for the recipe!

try balsamic vinegraitte...a brbq place here in town uses that for their cole slaw...

I like to use Brianna's vinaigrette dressing over slaw mix. It's the bottle with the strawberry on it.
