Apparently the mushrooms are in a mushroom-and-Parmesan crust on the salmon. Which I'm not too enthusiastic about, since to me the whole point of encrusting something is to add a bit of crunchiness to the texture.
It looks beautiful. That said, I probably wouldn't order it. Too many different flavors on the plate for me; I'd prefer to focus on two or three of them. I'm thinking the pumpkin should go (out of season), and so should the mushrooms (similar texture to the salmon but very different flavor; and they suggest fall to me as well). That would leave the salmon, the asparagus, and the lemon butter sauce to focus on. The salad on top looks good, and might be worth expanding on, since there is much less risk of it stealing the show and it provides a welcome contrast in texture.
There's a little too much going on for me - too many competing vegetables and seasonings. Simple but very refined, fresh, and well-executed always wins me over. I'd focus on the salmon with just the asparagus and some potatoes in season right now instead of the smash. And the garnish on top seems a bit too much for me with the sauce. My husband is a fine dining chef though so I may be programmed by his cooking style. It does look very nicely prepared and colorful!

The only thing I don't like about it is the asparagus but that is just me.
Where are the mushrooms I can't see them?

When I read "lightly sauteed button mushroom" I assumed that there would be whole button mushrooms visible somewhere.
