Well, I think I’m getting the hang of some of this LJ stuff. Though I’m a little confused as to why, when I put my location as ‘My Flat’ on my first entry, it linked itself to a map of a Bakewell Ingredients Factory. In Malaysia. Whilst I do enjoy the occasional bakewell tart, I have yet to move into a production factory.

*lol* that's what I thought. Seriously - they can make spaceships fly into Big Ben, but can't get that done? I'm rubbish at photoshop, but somehow I like to think I would have done better.
But I love that first series of New Who really, with Chris Eccleston's slightly 'darker' Doctor. "The Empty Child" is one of my all-time favourites, and not just because it's Captain Jack's first episode.

Next on my re-watch list has to be "The Runaway Bride" though. Am dead excited about seeing David and Catherine in "Much Ado..." this summer and need some Doctor/Donna-awesomeness to pass the time.

It's appalling isn't it! I rewound it about four times to check it really was as bad as I thought, and it was.
Am counting down the episodes til The Empty Child :)

yeah...Chris Eccleston has never done it for me as the Doctor, which is why I never got past the first few eps of S1 on tv, which I was really disappointed in cos I used to watch the old Doctor every arvo on the ABC when I was a kid.
but thanks to John Simm in Life on Mars, I watched him on DW as the Master, then saw Captain Jack & David Tennant & it was all over. Now they are my 3 most fav guys in the world (plus Adam Lambert :) )

I've never seen John Simm in anything, so have that to look forward to! Will report back as to what I think and whether I develop another crush! Ooh and I love Adam Lambert too :)

You're in for a treat! S1 starts off slow, but the last five episodes of Season One are mind-blowing :D
