YAY ROSE! As great as Eccleston is and was, I don't think the Reboot would necessarily have been as immediately popular without Rose. (I mean, lets face it, what's the title of that very first episode and who is the first character we meet?)

I totally agree - without it starting off from such a normal perspective with Rose, I think a lot of the younger viewers might have just found the whole thing too... alien. So to speak!
