Very pleased with the composter. We leveled the ground and put four 12 x 12 pavers beneath with the corners chiseled off. It fits neatly under the bin and should suffice to discourage unwelcomed critters. Failing all else, we will place a swatch of chicken wire on the bottom. It is less than a quarter full. The more expensive model ($60+) was said to be narrow at the top and difficult to get a pitch fork or spade/shovel into to do the once a month needed turn. This is, by contrast, 30" wide at the opening. The top locks securely.

On order, with a second round soon to come: Blue Wind Broccoli, (green) Tendersweet Cabbage, (red) Super Cabbage, Nelson Carrot, Sierra Blanca Onion, Nabechan Scallion, Premium (shelling) peas, Sugar Ann (snap) Peas, Red Cardinal (smooth-leaf) Spinach

Also have: Mediteranean Oregano, Cilantro, Rosemay, Thyme, Sage, Queen Sophia Marigolds, Jewel Mix Nasturtiums, Salad Bowl and Vivian Romaine Lettuce, Sweet Basil, Italian Flat-Leaf Parsley

May consider doing a seed exchange this year.
