I love friendsfriends for this exact reason...for idly stumbling through entries and finding treasure.

This story just sucked the breath right out of me. So gently told, giving the reader the same sense of curiosity that Viggo has, I couldn't breathe until those footsteps...until that last word on the board.

Beautiful work! This was the best way to start a morning.

Wow! I loved this. Beautiful depiction of finding something extraordinary (love) in the amongst the ordinary (daily life and a whiteboard). It's quiet and sweet but it pulls and makes you care about Viggo and feel his sense of growing involvement and interest in this "penpal" relationship. Very, very nice work.
