Everything in my world is composed of fonons and elements. Fonons are elements and sound frequencies. Every person has a unique fonon frequency. Fonic artes are spells created by drawing fonons into the body through fon slots, combined and employed by reciting a fonic verse. There are those that can be used to charge and power physical attacks, and those that don't require weapons.

I assume you know about the wide variety and number of monsters there are on the way to the Clock. They tend to attack groups much more frequently, although I've never been able to figure out any specific pattern.
