Today, Pa's "puppy senses" were tingling... but when he went into the bedroom, to see if I had gotten into trouble- I had opened my crate allright... but I was laying in bed with DAD... He has Teh Sick. I wanned to comfort him more than him sticking his fingers through my crate side bars, so I let myself out to cuddle a bit ( Read more... )

We used to do something similar with our kitties... We have an ice fishing pole that we tie one of their toys on... then we go fishing for kitties. They love it. My step-dad was the first to have the idea, but I think it was just because he wanted to play with my kitties without having to get out of his recliner.

That's what makes it so exciting for ME anyway- we play with our kitties like that with a cat toy- but it never occurred to me, to find a way to do the same for Cora! I have such limited stamina and ability to really PLAY with her rough enough for her to be able to really get TIRED... ya know? So this was like "WOW, why didn't *I* think of that??" for me! :)
