Recall that I have been tallying my weekend activities. In my previous entry I mentioned that I had 10 consecutive weekends with activities. Upon checking... Apparently I had 12 consecutive weekends. And it is getting worse...

I have been very clingy to Irene since last Monday. And so far it is becoming harder and harder to suppress this clinginess...

Bidding goodbye to Irene is starting to get harder and harder...

Nah, she's not in a faraway place. She's just working, probably upstairs. I haven't seen her since yesterday.

Anyway. Yeah, I miss her.

( I think I now understand how humans have come up with the term 'Heaven on Earth.' )

Love is waiting for someone to finish her overtime work, even if it means waiting for 12 hours and helping her out a little in the process, and bringing her home despite your exhaustion.

Inversely, love is not waiting for someone and instead telling him "Tara! :) Alis na tayo ng office." ("Come on! Let's leave the office.") to get to spend as much ( Read more... )

( Irene is on a vacation abroad, and left the Philippines last Tuesday. )

Back on Friday I accompanied Irene while she was working overtime. This is not an unusual activity, as I have waited for her to finish her work for many times already.

However there is a little detail that made last Friday's overtime a little unusual: We did not go home on Friday. We went home on a Saturday instead. ( Particularly, Saturday morning. )
