It feels sad to say, but I think I may have outgrown the Oscars. I don't think I've ever been so "meh" about a ceremony since I've started watching. The magic and the movie-love was just missing. Yes! If the movie isn't your thing, fine, but the hate is just BOGGLING.

As far as the hosts, it was like Anne Hathaway was trying to exert all the effort, energy and enthusiasm James Franco lacked. She was a bit too "excited puppy leaking pee" as a result :P Cute but annoying.

But Tiny Ball of Light was one of my most favorite things evar.

It was a rather bizarre Oscars this year, wasn't it? I think James Franco is awesome (and I feel sorry for him, because I think if 127 Hours had been released in any other year, he would have stood a very strong chance of walking away with Best Actor), but he just didn't seem to engage with the proceedings at all.

Colin Firth's speech was fabulous - a well-deserved win.
