It's been several days now, and when she returned to the lake, there was no sign of a specific painted turtle, though she searched for at least an hour.

So this time, Elda is armed with the counter spell, and a locating one as well.

Activating it, Elda tilts her head and follows the bell-like tone towards the rogue Prince.

The rogue Prince is currently hiding under a table.

All the same, he's quite easy to find, as he's got a bright glowstick sticking up from his back.

"There you are," she says, peering under the table. "Whyever did you wander off? I don't suppose you like it like that."

The Prince glowers.

If he were able to speak, he would be ranting something about having gone in search of the foul beast who robbed him of his true and rightful princely form!

Fortunately for Elda, he can't speak yet, and thus simply appears to be goggling his turtle eyes exceptionally far out.

"There's no need to look at me like that. If you hadn't run off, I'd have been able to turn you back sooner."

She carefully snatches him off the floor and carries him outside.

"It might be best if we do this out here."

Elda sets him down and draws a circle in the soil around him.

"Now please, hold still."
