I've been good lately. I cut way back on my drinking, I've been to the gym six days per week for the last three weeks. Those are the labors. The fruits are the 13 pounds I've lost during that time. Yay ( Read more... )

For some reason, I've been in a good mood for about a week now. Not a whole lot has changed in my life that would really explain it. Hopefully it sticks around. I worked out today, i'm trying to eat healthy again and I've been far more sociable lately. Yay!

It's a very nice change of pace from where I've been for the last few months.

This new series on PBS looks really interesting. It premieres tonight. Guns, Germs, & Steel. It's based on the book of the same name and other work of Jared Diamond. Guns, Germs and Steel screens across the country on PBS from July 11 for three weeks on Monday nights at 11pm in most cities.

The company where I work sends out a monthly email with a bunch of "news" about what's going on at a higher level than where we mere peons work.
