Existentialism is...

an odd theory. I'm sure lots of angsty teens toy with the false idea of existentialism. "I don't like anything, I'm an existentialist. I'm so apathetic that I don't even care about being apathetic." Mostly because it is ugly, unstructured, and it doesn't make logical sense to me anymore. I suppose that is just my structured Japanese-learning mind coming out, but it doesn't really matter why I think that our language is terrible. I do love that we have so many words for the same meanings, and I do love the intricate sentences it is possible to make, but on the whole I don't think our language is very well thought out. There seems to be no real pattern, no rhyme or reason to how it was thrown together. I had a good point when I wrote that, but sleep called and now I have forgotten.

Make note that I was referring to angsty teenagers who don't know what existentialism actually is.
