I like this. I like thinking Uther does know but chooses to ignore it. Chooses to ignore both secrets because that's what a father would do.

This is fantastic - a view of Uther which doesn't take him for a fool, doesn't make him needlessly stupid, and works so cleverly around the whole issue of him knowing but not doing anything. Love the distinction he makes about ARthur being under Merlin's spell - and the way Uther regards his son. Knows him, but still calls him 'prince'? Interesting. ^_^
