It's not cold out, but it's rainy and icy and gray out and I got soaked walking between campuses to and from a meeting and I have no chocolate and I need something to perk me up.

I've been meaning to watch U2 at Slane Castle again. As soon as I put it on, Vlad came and sat on the coffee table, all intent on the screen. I swear to you, he's watching Edge's hands and longing for a set of thumbs and a very small electric guitar of his own...

This is a pretty long video, but I kept laughing harder as it went on. Some of the dogs, especially, are full of holiday spirit.

I have in fact been using the Sketch-A-Day journal, which is fun. I'm not going to discover an untapped talent here, but it's nice to draw. Spike has developed the habit (which I'm attempting to discourage) of giving me a friendly bite in passing. You know how some people pat their friends on the shoulder?
