That was a FANTASTIC Owen Wilson impersonation! Did you see the movie? It was wonderful. I loved it.

But there was no time machine...

I really enjoyed the movie, too!

Maybe Owen meant the car was the time machine? Or maybe he thought Tom looked puzzled enough already and thought the time machine would simplify things?

I love how his accent circles around the vowels, hitting Owen squarely and then kind of bouncing off. The flailing may add to the effect as well--I can see Owen flailing.
