It's Saturday morning at 8:36 a.m. I've been sitting at an exhibitor's table at a conference for over an hour. I'll be here till 6:30 p.m. I am BORED.

Cancun was fantastic, but way too short. I had two days at home, then had to turn around and come down to a conference in D.C. And here I sit.

We were looking at a data table in a meeting this morning, trying to discern the impact of inconsistent patient data over time. The analyst who prepared the report labeled the column that indicates whether the gender code didn't match from one year to the next "bad_sex." We have this tiny little movie theater in our town; it has six screens, but they're so small that anyone with a marginally decent home theater system probably has a better one. I found myself wondering this the other day; who was the sadist that thought balloons were a good thing to give to little kids?
