We were looking at a data table in a meeting this morning, trying to discern the impact of inconsistent patient data over time. The analyst who prepared the report labeled the column that indicates whether the gender code didn't match from one year to the next "bad_sex." We got minutes of fun out of pondering the meaning of having "yes" in the "bad_sex" column.
In other news, our huge project is DONE!!! Finally! Now we have millions of details (getting the ISBN and bar code, flyers, executive summaries, web site, and so on), but the book is DONE!!! I just looked at the creation date of the first draft: April 30, 2007. No wonder I feel like this project has eaten my life. But it's DONE!!!
